Hey Guys.Today I have another ambitious young lady.

Introduction

Her name is Ronnie but she writes under the name Hardy Har.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

1.)When and how did you first come across blogging?
Hardy Har says: I have always taken a peek here and there at various blogs over the years, but admittedly have subscribed to very few prior to this year.
2.)What made you want to start blogging and how did you know blogging was for you?
Hardy Har says: Well, in February 2017, I began smoking marijuana. Yes, I know I am a little late to the party, but I finally did try it and I was intrigued by the effects of the substance. So, me being a typical curious Sagittarius, I started taking notes of my high seshes, as I like to call them, and documented my experiences. From there, my boyfriend said he thought it would be good information to share with other people and this is essentially how The Pursuit of Higher Self was born.
3.)Who are some of the people that inspire you in the blogging community?
Hardy Har says: I LOVE Gloria Atanmo’s blog, The Blog Abroad. It is a glorious travel blog featuring the many adventures of this brilliant Nigerian-American woman’s travels, including her constant mistaken identity as Serena Williams! This was the first blog I started to follow, so I’d say right now, hers is my most inspirational follow.
4.)What is the main goal you want to achieve with your blog?
Hardy Har says: I’d like to grow this brand and platform to a huge community of current smokers, former smokers, and non-smokers sharing information about the uses of marijuana from first-hand experiences.
5.)How do you see yourself and your blog in 5 years?
Hardy Har says: I can see the blog having 1 or 2 million subscribers entertained, informed, and/or inspired by my experiences, and encouraged to pursue their own happy experiences.
6.)What are some of the setbacks you faced when you first started blogging?
Hardy Har says: Well, I just started my blog so I can speak from current experiences on this topic. In the beginning, many of us are still trying to figure out what we want to do with a blog. Then we have to figure out how to get people to read it. It then becomes a manic race to attract and gain readers. So, that is where I am. I know what I want, but I am focused on getting people to engage with my content. I imagine down the road, the challenge will be retaining my subscribers while still adding more and more.
7.)What do you enjoy most about blogging?
Hardy Har says: I love how creative it forces me to be and how inspiring that creation is. There’s this duality that makes this process so enjoyable.
8.)Do you think bloggers are not as recognized as youtubers and other social media content creators?Explain your answer.
Hardy Har says: I definitely think there are many familiar faces on youtube, but then again, they are providing video content. I think it’s unrealistic to expect the same popularity in written copy that of videos.
9.)What is a stereotype about bloggers that isn’t true?
Hardy Har says: That we don’t work hard! Man, is that a lie!! I know just from the amount of hustle I did last week, bloggers work HARD! We are essentially self-employed, but selling written advice and experiences in a world obsessed with videos and live feeds. It’s challenging work.
10.)What would you say is the hardest thing about blogging?
Hardy Har says: lol! Pretty much I said about this question.
11.)What advice would you give to other bloggers?
Hardy Har says: Be inspired by your experiences and get to work!

___________________________________

When and how did you first come across blogging?

Leanne says: I’ve always used travel blogs to help me plan for trips away and to help inspire me. I’ve kept low key blogs as a way to keep family and friends updated when I’m away for long periods but never tried blogging properly until just recently. A few weeks ago, in the pub (where all good ideas start,) I began thinking about another little blog whilst I was away in South America in October. This, after a few more glasses of vino, turned into ‘why not do this properly?!’ This was only a few weeks ago so my blog is in it’s early stages but I’m excited by the response I’ve had already!
____________________________________
What made you want to start blogging and how did you know blogging was for you?
Leanne says: I work as a GP (hence the title The Globe Trotter GP) which is a great job but requires absolutely no creativity! I’ve always been a creative person and for a while considered photography as a 2nd part time career but it wasn’t really suiting me and my lifestyle. So I’ve been looking for that creative outlet for a while which is when I stumbled across the idea of becoming a travel blogger. This is the perfect balance for me between a job helping people and also channeling my inner creativity!
____________________________________
Who are some of the people that inspire you in the blogging community?
Leanne says: IamAileen.com is a fantastic blog! Aileen is seriously inspirational! She quit a corporate job to make money from her travels. She bravely took a risk and it’s paid off! Not only are her articles well written and visually pleasing but she also does a lot of how-to-guides for setting up a blog. As a total technophobe this was completely invaluable to me! If it wasn’t for her article, I’d still be searching ‘what does domain mean’ on google!
____________________________________
What is the main goal you want to achieve with your blog?
Leanne says: Mostly I want to enjoy tapping into my creative side and making a blog I’m pleased as punch with! But of course everyone wants to feel ‘heard’ so I’d love to be successful in getting my words out there!
I’m trying to appeal to the mid-range travellers, probably young professionals who don’t want to completely rough it anymore but are still budget conscious! Also to those who are starting out with photography as for me this is such an integral part of travelling! I once paid for 2 new cameras after 2 broke on a trip because the idea of travelling without documenting it with some awesome photos is inconceivable! Without a doubt it was money well spent!
I’m also working really hard on a feature called ‘Interview with a Local.’ I’m a big advocate for getting involved with the locals when you travel and so this is perfect for me. I’m collaborating with 50+ travel writers at the moment from all over the world from Rio, New York, Dubai and even Alaska to get their opinions on what their must-see places, restaurants and bars are. The idea being that their advice is a lot more valuable than a guidebook!
____________________________________
How do you see yourself and blog in 5 years?
Leanne says: Hopefully I will achieve  the perfect work balance between GP work and blogging! I think this would satisfy both parts of my personality! Hopefully the blog will be well established with a large catalogue of ‘Interviews with Locals’ and be a useful resource for people planning trips and learning to take great photos along the way!
____________________________________
What were some of the setbacks you faced when you first started your blog?
Leanne says: Firstly I was (am) a complete technophobe! I was messaging site ground almost daily with questions! But over time it has come together and I’m all the prouder from learning it from scratch!
I think I also underestimated how much time you need to make it as a blogger! I have a habit of taking too much on! I’m currently planning my own trip, working full-time as a GP, training hard for a high altitude trek in Peru, editing my friends wedding photoshoot AND setting up a blog! Each of these feel like a full-time job in themselves! But I’m a big believer of giving 110% and you will reap the rewards later! I wouldn’t have it any other way.
____________________________________________
What do you enjoy most about blogging?
Leanne says: It’s nice to zone out and do something totally different from my day job! I think often doctors are thought of as professionals rather than people sometimes. Taking the time to pursue my passions – travel, photography and blogging, reminds me that work-life balance is so important. You only live one life – make it the one you love!
____________________________________
Do you think bloggers are not as recognized as youtubers and other social media content creators?Explain your answer.
Leanne says: Yes, to some extent. I think probably because many people keep blogs more as a personal diary (like my previous blogs.) This can make it confusing for people to understand the difference between someone who likes to write to retain memories and someone who writes to be heard.
____________________________________
What is a stereotype about bloggers that isn’t true?
Leanne says: I think sometimes people presume blogging is a pipe dream and that only a precious few can be successful – the rest of us are just dreamers! I sometimes think some people believe this is a fad of mine but I can honestly say it’s something I am incredibly passionate about and with all things in life, those who are successful are the ones who are passionate and hardworking and I’m quite prepared to be both!
____________________________________
What would you say is the hardest part of blogging?
Leanne says: How time consuming it is! It’s sometimes hard to balance work, blogging and a social life! You need to keep a constant social media presence and it can be soul destroying when you take a day off (like I did recently) and you see your viewings dwindle in such a short time period! You have to then be prepared to work extra hard for the next few days!
____________________________________
What advice would you give to other bloggers?
Leanne says: If you’re passionate and hardworking then go for it and believe in yourself! Others may think it’s a phase, a pipe dream but now it’s your responsibility to prove them wrong!
____________________________________
We have come to another great end with another great interview.Leanne is so nice and has such a big personality and I wish her all the best and success in the world.
See you soon,

 ___________________________________
When and how did you first come across blogging?
Reginald: I came across blogging about 3 years ago precisely in 2014, then I didn’t have a custom domain. Everyday on my facebook profile,  I used to write a lot based on my experience of life and how I relate it to what is happening in life.  It was during this my constant writing that an elderly man adviced me to go into blogging to reach a wider audiences and that my writing has helped him a lot to become a positive person.
____________________________________
What made you want to start blogging and how did you know blogging was for you?
Reginald: What actually motivated me is the fact that I wanted to touch as many lives as possible through my motivational write-ups and business educational tips.  I wanted also to give the youth on the road a platform to promote their talents, etc. And all this led me to starting my first blog in Early 2016 which was never a success until I  started another my second blog around December and today that blog (https://www.thepagemagazine.com) has been more than a success with about ten team working with me using their skills to make earning through my platform.
____________________________________
Who are some of the people that inspire you in the blogging community?
Reginald: Neil Patel,  Mark, and Linda Ikeji.
____________________________________
What is the main goal you want to achieve with your blog?
Reginald: To promote our people’s culture,  celebrate people’s success and educate people on what is happening and all they need to know to become successful in their lives.
____________________________________
How do you see yourself and your blog in 5 years?
Reginald:  I see myself as a great icon,  a reference for other bloggers and one of the most influential people in the world.
____________________________________
What were some of the setbacks you faced when you first started your blog?
Reginald: When I started blogging,  it got to an extent it don’t know what to write,  I never understood that there was what we call niche in blogging and also the finance to run social media adverts.
____________________________________
What do you enjoy most about blogging?
Reginald: Blogging is fun only when you understand what you are doing and you are seeing the results.
I really enjoyed everyday when I waked up to see my traffic grow and also helping the numerous people who sent me message on solving some blogging issues.
____________________________________
Do you think bloggers are not as recognized as youtubers and other social media content creators?Explain your answer.
Reginald: Bloggers are not recognized because every blogger is not after people knowing them but rather knowing their brands and promoting this their brands.
____________________________________
What is a stereotype about bloggers that isn’t true?
Reginald: Bloggers are poor people.
____________________________________
What is the hardest thing about blogging?
Reginald: The hardest thing about blogging is time.  It consumes time a lot.
____________________________________
What advice would you give to other bloggers?
Reginald: I encourage upcoming bloggers and those in the system especially those who solely depends on Adsense for income,  to first build their brands,  learn a lot about social media marketing,  and spend money to boost their blogs.  And every blogger who loves copy and paste work should stop it,  it kills brands a lot,  it makes people not want to visit your blogs and also that every blogger should never see blogging as a get quick rich syndrome but rather as a gradual process.

Introduction

Elaine Manipol is a lifestyle blogger who also writes slightly about mental health.

____________________________________

When and how did you first come across blogging?
Elaine: I started blogging May of this year.  I recently started a new job that gave me a lot of free time on the computer.  One day I was surfing around and came across a few blogs who told of how easy it was to start one.  The rest is history!
____________________________________
What made you want to start blogging and how did you know blogging was for you?
Elaine: I’ve been diagnosed and living with major depression for most of my life, and only recently have been treating it properly with my medical team.  I found that blogging gave me a great creative outlet to express myself and put my energy towards.  I knew blogging was for me when I started to receive positive comments from readers.  It felt great!
____________________________________
What are some of the people that inspire you in the blogging community?
Elaine: My most recent inspiration would be Eden Fried.  I recently had a 15 minute (which extended to about 20 mins) phone call with her.  She was so kind, positive, and encouraging!  She also gave excellent advice to move forward with my blog and to help it grow.
____________________________________
What is the main goal you want to achieve with your blog?
Elaine: Like a lot of other bloggers, I’m wanting to have my own business selling my own mental health related products.  It’s currently in the works and would be my most #1 goal for my blog.
____________________________________
How do you see yourself and your blog in 5 years?
Elaine: Hopefully successful with my business!
____________________________________
What are some of the setbacks you faced when you first started blogging?
Elaine: Learning everything. There are so many little things that you need to learn when it comes to blogging, it gets overwhelming.  It will definitely be a never ending learning experience.
____________________________________
What do you enjoy most about blogging?
Elaine: I enjoy all the opportunities and doors it opened for me.  I’ve already been able to work with different companies, meet new people, and learn so, so much.
____________________________________
Do you think bloggers are not as recognized as youtubers and other social media content creators?Explain your answer.
Elaine: I think it depends on what the niche is.  Fashion bloggers get recognized a lot on instagram beause, like magazines, people like to look at pictures for that sort of inspiration.  On YouTube I find that there’s a lot of tutorials that do very well.  People want to learn things and a lot of us are visual learners, which is why we see so many make up tutorials/bloggers do very well.
____________________________________
What is a stereotype about bloggers that isn’t true?
Elaine: That it’s just a hobby.  It kind of is a hobby, but also much much more than that.  It really is a business to run a successful blog.  And I don’t mean successful as in making money, but to have it running smoothly with the amount of traffic you want.  It’s pretty difficult to do that as a simple ‘hobby’.  It takes a lot of time and dicipline to run a blog and I think the general public doesn’t realize this.
____________________________________
What would you say is the hardest thing about blogging?
Elaine: I’d say learning everything.  All at once.  There’s so many things to do all at once; different ways to grow traffic, designing your blog, creating products, keeping up with posts, etc etc.  You get the idea and there’s just a lot.
____________________________________
What advice would you give to other bloggers?
Elaine: Just be yourself and don’t give up.  You’ll see a lot of other bloggers telling you how successful they were in a week and you’ll begin to get discouraged.  Don’t be.  It’s not the norm to be mega successful so quickly even though we would all love this.  Like that saying, Rome wasn’t built in a day.  Neither will your blog.  But always continue to be yourself and don’t lose that – if you become something you’re not, you’ll quickly lose interest in your blog and unfortunately will not be as successful as you thought.  Keep it as your passion and the rest will follow.

THE INTERVIEW BEGINS

____________________________________________________________________________________________

When and how did you first come across blogging?

Jill says: I came across blogging, because of my best friend and an aunt who’ve been blogging for a year already. I started blogging in 2014, because I wanted my magazine to have a platform with current information and wanted my readers to be able to access that before hand instead of waiting 3 months to read about it.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

What  made you want to start blogging and how did you know blogging was for you?

Jill says: Having a miscarriage inspire me to do something I love and food it was I love. I’ve always wanted to know more about the ins and outs about food, etiquette and lots more. That’s the reason why I started my magazine and of course eventually the blog. Now that the magazine is not being published anymore, the blog is my only way of expressing myself through my culinary experiences. Blogging is a hobby the fits my needs, that’s how I know it is for me.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Who are some of the people that inspire you in the blogging community?

Jill says: From my country Marieke Visser and Kim Tjon A Loi. Others: Eden Fried, Laala Yasmin, skinnytaste.com, simplyrecipes.com

____________________________________________________________________________________________

What is the main goal you want to achieve with your blog?

Jill says: Main goal is to get known and earn an income.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

How do you see yourself and blog in 5 years?

Jill says: In 5 years I see myself with a lovely family of my own, with this job that I love grown greater than it already is. My blog in 5 years will be one of the best and well known recourse people go to if searching for anything in the culinary field from all over the world.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

What were some of the setbacks you faced when you first started blogging?

Jill says: The only set back for me was writing a blog in a language that is not native. I am fluent in English but my native language is Dutch. That was a challenge I’m happy to say I’ve overcome somewhat.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

What do you enjoy most about blogging?

Jill says: I enjoy expressing myself through my blog. I will not write a negative blog post on a restaurant, even if the meal wasn’t worth the money or even the time. But I will talk to the manager about it, which will give me joy when I see and notice a change from before. Blogging made me known in the culinary world of Suriname, which makes me enjoy it even more.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

Do you think bloggers are not as recognized as youtubers and other social media content creators?

Explain your answer

Jill says: Sometimes I do have the feeling we are a bit neglected as bloggers. In a world that is developing so fast, people tent not to read as much anymore. Videos and short stories on social media are quicker for them to read or look at.If I look at my traffic, it says that people who visit my page and explore it too,will not stay long enough to read the complete blog post. And that is sad actually.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

What advice would you give to other bloggers?

Jill says: Blogging for year or just recently is to not give up. Continue with what you are doing as it is still valued. Enjoy each post you write and if you don’t… don’t publish it.

____________________________________________________________________________________________

THE INTERVIEW COMES TO AN END

___________________________________

When and how did you first come across blogging?

Nolusindiso: I studied media and was introduced to blogging as part of the courses in 2011. I started my first blog in 2012 but I never did much because I didn’t have a niche. I only started thinking about doing it seriously in 2016 and that’s when I did research and started to design my blog.

___________________________________

What made you want to start blogging and how did you know blogging was for you?

Nolusindiso: I love reading other people’s blogs and I love writing. Always did. What made me start blogging seriously was the fact that I was moving to South Korea and knowing that traveling around Asia would be much cheaper.

Writing is something I’m passionate about and writing on something I call my own is what keeps me inspired and motivated.

_________________________________________

Who are some of the bloggers that inspire you?

Nolusindiso: Julie Olum who owns Frame Ambition, Tasha Haley from Meldrums on the move, Nomadic Mat and Ytravel blog.

__________________________________________

What is the main goal you want to achieve with your blog?

Nolusindiso: My vision is to be a full-time digital nomad by 2020. So, I’m using my blog to grow my experience as a writer, to gain following and recognition which will make it easier for people to pay me for blogging.

__________________________________________

What were some of the setbacks you faced when you first started your blog?

Nolusindiso: I’m still new in blogging, so I’m making a lot of mistakes and learning as I go but I’d say the biggest of them all is how time consuming it can be which often results in me being anti-social.

I started blogging so I can travel and share but there I times when I do none of the travelling but instead spend hours starring at my computer learning new ways to improve the blog. It feels good most of the time but it also defeats the purpose… if you know what I mean. So I often force myself to get out of the house

__________________________________________

What do you enjoy most about blogging?

Nolusindiso: I enjoy writing and networking with other bloggers. I love how it motivates me to be productive every day and be consistent, It’s both fun and rewarding.

__________________________________________

Do you think bloggers are not as recognized as youtubers and other social media content creators?

Nolusindiso: Yes I do, people don’t like reading much and they don’t like clicking on links either. YouTube videos on the other hand win because you can do it passively, whereas you can’t do that with a blog.
_________________________________________
Her advice to other bloggers.
Nolusindiso: Make sure you love it enough because it takes a lot out of you but when you love it you don’t mind. Read! read! read! especially if you’re new to blogging, it helps to research and read a lot instead of just going with the flow because you think you know what you’re doing. Don’t be afraid to ask experienced people for help when you feel stuck. You won’t be a successful overnight so don’t let the traffic numbers drive you nuts, work hard but don’t let blogging take over your life.
____________________________________
That’s the end of the interview with Nolusindiso. She is such a nice and intelligent young lady and I hope you guys check out her blog,you’ll definately learn something new from her.
Until next time,
Bye Guys.

The First Star I See Everynight🌟

cropped-blog.jpg

They say if you wish upon a star your dreams will come through,

What is it about that first star I see everynight

Is it the way it shines brighter than all others,

Is it the way it twinkles in the moon light,

The way it smiles down at me with a smile so bright,

          Making me believe in the                               imposible,

Making me dream of the                               inevitable,

Making me love the unlovable.

My Interview with Bigscribe_Books

Untitled OJKHey guys.Today I’ll be doing my very first Interview with Bigscribe_Books.I hope you enjoy.

♡~Introduction~♡

Bigscribe_Books is a Booktuber/Bookstagrammer and an aspiring writer who writes under the name of C.A.Perkins.He has also written a story for FairyLoot’s August BookLoot and they have all sold out.How great is that!

His Booktube: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCwQpHp_ZBA_xm_e-l7Vd9BA

His Bookstagram: https://www.instagram.com/bigscribe_books/?hl=en

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
♡~What inspired you to start Booktubing?~♡
Answer – Well, a combination of things. I am a Christian, and part of that is learning and sharing my faith. I started my channel originally to do unboxing videos and Bible study videos. Then I heard about people reviewing books on YouTube and Instagram. King Books,Haley in Bookland, and Sophie Reads. They are my inspirations to tell the world about my love of reading and books. I also do unboxings, Bible studies, vlogs, and review videos for shows and movies.
They all taught me to be myself and not be ashamed of my nerdiness.
So I’d say that those three YouTubers inspired me.
Alana King (King Books) is a personal hero of mine just because she is herself and promotes peace and kindness among fandoms.
My goal through my social media is to promote reading and encourage more young people to read.
___________________________________
♡~When you first started Booktube.What things suprised you the most?~♡
Answer – I guess how hard it is to get noticed.You have to REALLY promote your videos. That’s why most BookTubers do Bookstagram as well.
—————————————————–
♡~What is the one book you will remember forever?~♡
Answer – Peter Pan. My grandmother had sight loss and Alzheimer’s. She kept that inner child alive til she died. She read me Peter Pan as a kid and then when I got older I read the Disney/Hyperion Peter and the Starcatchers series books to her. But she passed away and I had to finish the series alone as my last goodbye. I’d say that Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie is special to me. Followed closely by The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas and Warlock Holmes by G. S. Denning.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

♡~How do you see yourself and Booktube in the next five years?~♡

Answer – Hopefully with a lot more subs and getting to interview some big name authors.

___________________________________

♡~Who are your favourite authors and favourite book written by them?~♡

Answer – Sarah.J.Maas (Throne of Glass,A Court of Thorns and Roses). G. S. Denning and Warlock Holmes series, James Patterson’s Maximum Ride series, P.C and Kristin Cast’s House of Night series.

—————————————————–

♡~How do you find the book community?was there love or have you encountered any hate?~♡

Answer – There is a lot of love. We are basically one big family.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆
That is the end of my very first interview with BigScribe_Books.I really enjoyed talking to him,he is very nice and wish him all the best and success in the world.♡
Join Me
Love is given freely?
No it isn’t,
At least that is what I know,
I once believed in love,
Happiness was an emotion I craved,
Without it I  was like a vampire who yearned for a single drop of blood,
Now I stalk my prey,
Watching as they stood there,
Never knowing their life was slowly coming to an end,
They thrived while I suffered,
It had to end,
Their joy,their love,
Their everything,
They must feel what I feel,
They must join me with the broken spirits,
The bones of those who came before them,
The screams of their torchered souls will forever mingle with the everlasting darkness that controls me.
